Somewhere in a far off land...

...there lived a kind hearted man in the middle of an enchanted forest
surrounded by playful animals, deer, monkeys, rabbits, and the loudest
parakeets.

He called himself Jon, from the farthest memory he had of someone calling him by that name.
Jon was not sure of how he had come to be all alone on this land but still he lived by the game.

He understood that he was the only one of his kind here as he saw many monkeys, many rabbits, many parakeets and deer, who all looked the same.

One thing he could not understand was how he had a few things in his possession, a few clothing, a mosquito net, a chair and a table. These seemed not from the forest, but from another place, another time.

His friends were the animals. They came to him every morning and stayed around him. He shared with them the fruits he would gather, and played tricks with them while doing so.

Days had gone by as such and now Jon wondered how much more; he wanted to find out about his kind.

He set off one day, unsure of where he would end up. From riding the elephants to the jaguars that would speed up his journey, he was never alone! Until he reached a vast expanse of shimmering water! That was where the forest ended. He had been to the other end, the opposite end, but it was too deep a jungle that side.
